Abstract :

Noah-Peace be upon him- is God’s first messenger sent to people on earth after Adam- Peace be upon him-(1). God sent him to his people to order them to worship God only and give up worshiping anything else of statues and other. He also feared them of God’s torture if they diverge and not believe in him. But they insisted on their disbelief. Noah-Peace be upon him- stayed with his people one thousand year less than fifty. He celled unto them day and night, in secrelly and openly and they argued each other. Nevertheless, only a few of his people believed. God-Almighty-told him that there would be no more believers. At that time Noah called down evil upon them. God told us about Noah's call:[ And Noah said:" My Lord! Leave no one of the disbelievers on the earth! Ç26È “If you leave them, they will mislead your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers” Ç27È [Noeh:26-27]. Ibin katheer said" And indeed Noah called down evil upon them- because of his experience with them-his people. And because he stayed with them thousand years less than fifty(2). Al-Qortobi quoted from Al-Dhahhak that God-Al-Mighty-told Noah- peace be upon him-that there will be no more believers but those who had already believed. So Noah-Peace be upon him-called down evil upon them(3). God-AL-Mighty-responded to Noah’s call and order him to build a ship. When he finished that mission and their destruction by sinking approached, God ordered him to carry in it of what God has told us. God said:[ (So it was) till then there came Our Command and the oven gushed forth(water like fountains from the earth).We said:" Embark therein, of each kind two(male and female),and your family, except him against whom the Word has already gone forth, and those Who believe. And none believed with him, except a few.” [Hûd:40]. Thus, God destructed them by sinking after He gave them that long period of time because God’s mill grinds slow but sure. This is the punishment of tyranists and atheists.
